Garbage Collection Service in the Elgin Town Limits

Effective 11-01-17, Davis Disposal, Inc., will not pick up residential trash if it is not in an approved cart.  Per the town's contract, the contractor shall only be required to collect garbage from roll carts that can be machine lifted and dumped into the garbage truck.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but due to numerous concerns/issues, it is important that everyone abide by this policy.
